Rigid Heddle Weaving Workshop-  March 23, 2024
Instructor:  Zwitsa Kachinski of Meraki Handwoven
Time:  this is a one day,  all day workshop which will begin at 9:00 am.  A short lunch break will be taken for those wishing to take one and then we will continue to work until 4:00 pm. 
Place: At our shop at 158 Main St in Bridgton Maine!
No previous experience needed.
 
Whether you are a brand new weaver or someone looking for a little refresher, this all day workshop is a great way to dive right into the wonderful world of weaving.    
The class will begin with the introduction of the Kromski Rigid Heddle Loom where parts and function will be discussed.  Zwitsa will guide you through the fundamentals of weaving and then students will proceed to weave their Houndstooth Scarf (similar to what is pictured) designed by Christine Jablonski on their assigned prewarped looms.  At the end of the day the students will leave with a tool-box full of tips and a beautiful scarf they will be proud to show off!!! 
 
Zwitsa is an authorized Kromski dealer and will be happy to assist you if you’d like to purchase a loom of your own.

Cancellation policy
If you have to cancel, you must give 7 days notice in order to receive a full refund less $25. Any cancellations within 7 days of the class date will not be due a refund but if there is space in another class, the class fee may be applied there.
